What makes a great swimming pool? Location, size, a swim up bar (yes)?
These swimming pools are the biggest, baddest, and even scariest ones we could find from around the world. While we can settle for whatever we can get while on vacation, there’s no harm in daydreaming that maybe one day we’ll visit these highly acclaimed spots.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a pool gal or a beach boy, we are sure your mind will be blown. 1. San Alfonsono del Mar resort, Chile
We don’t really think this aerial view of the pool at Chile’s San Alfonso del Mar resort quite does its size justice. How big is it truly? It is big enough for a boat to sail in. Being the deepest swimming pool in the world at 115 feet, holding 66 million gallons of seawater, and coming in at approximately 20 acres, this pool is not for the weary – or the bad swimmers!
